Before you start

- Two grabs for the support: stop the exercise.

The movement
- Stand tall beside a bench or solid table.
- One hand on the support.
- Eyes ahead, fixed point.
- Firm level floor.
- Clear space on the free side.
- Feet hip width apart.
- Shift the weight onto one leg.
- Lift the other foot just clear of the floor.
- Hold 10 seconds.
- Put the foot down.
- Repeat on the other leg.
